13:00  Lunch

The pub in the village The Kings Arms, does reasonably priced  meals or sandwiches on Saturdays. On Sundays only meat meals are available, so if you are vegetarian or vegan you are advised to bring your own packed lunch to the Sunday workshop. Alternatively The Hope and Anchor a mile and a half away in Port Carlisle offers both vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be available, free, during the workshop

AFTERNOON SESSION (starts 14:00)

Each participant will develop their own characters and story: character profiles, basic story, with assistance from Jim.

16:30  Feedback session

17:00  Workshop ends

NB      Each participant will work at a speed that is comfortable for them. Some people who prefer to write fast will produce more scenes; others – who prefer to work at a slower pace – will produce less written work.  The workshop is not a speed-writing competition, it is intended that each person will develop their own ability and style in writing at a pace that is comfortable for them.
