Jim has been a scriptwriter for 35 years. He has had over 250 TV and 250 radio scripts broadcast in the UK and across the world.
He is the creator and writer of Radio 4's long-running KING STREET JUNIOR, CBBCTV's Sci-fi drama POWERS, and was a key member of the writing teams on THE GHOST HUNTER and JULIA JEKYLL AND HARRIET HYDE, as well as many more TV and radio series. Two of his TV movies have had theatrical releases. He has had 50 books published, which have sold over a million copies.
Jim, a former teacher, has also tutored scriptwriting for the BBC, and at Media Degree Courses in colleges. Now, Jim offers to show you how to develop writing for Film and TV.

WRITING FOR FILM AND TV
Stage 1: For the initial fee you will receive a document written by Jim explaining writing for Film and TV: Deciding on the story for your film. Developing characters and stories. Explaining dialogue. The structure of the story. Explaining the scene-by-scene breakdown (also known as "the step treatment"). Explaining the first draft of a screenplay.
Fee for Stage 1: £10.
Stage 2: Jim reading your outline and scene-by-scene breakdown, and giving feedback.
Fee for Stage 2: £25 per script
Stage 3: Jim reading the first draft of your script and giving feedback.
Fee for Stage 3: £30 per script.
This means that you can choose how much you want to spend, and how much feedback you want to have from Jim. If you wish, you can simply take Stage 1 for a cost of £10 and then work on your own with no feedback. Or you can ask for feedback on your outline and scene-by-scene breakdown (Stage 2) and then just go on to write the script with no further feedback from Jim at a total cost for the course of £35, paid in two stages (£10 + £25).
If you wish, you can also get feedback on the first draft of your script from Jim at Stage 3, a total cost of £65 for the whole course, paid in three stages (£10 + £25 + £30)
