On Sundays only meat meals are available, so if you are vegetarian or vegan you are advised to bring your own packed lunch to the Sunday workshop. Alternatively, The Hope and Anchor a mile and a half away in Port Carlisle offers both vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be available, free, during the workshop
AFTERNOON SESSION (starts 14:00)
The Pitch: Each participant will have a 10 minute one-to-one time with Jim to discuss an idea they wish to develop
Simultaneously Participants create their own comedy or drama play, series or serial for TV or a one-off screenplay By the end of the afternoon the participants will aim to produce a scene-by-scene breakdown of one episode (if a series or serial) or for the screenplay or Participants will write a scene from the story developed during the morning session
In this workshop, each participant will work at a speed that is comfortable for them. Some people who prefer to write fast will produce more scenes; others - who prefer to work at a slower pace - will produce less written work. It is intended that each person will develop their own ability and style in writing at a pace that is comfortable for them.
