On Sundays only meat meals are available, so if you are vegetarian or vegan you are advised to bring your own packed lunch to the Sunday workshop. Alternatively, the Hope and Anchor at Port Carlisle offers both vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals.  Tea, coffee and biscuits will be available, free, during the workshop

bullet

Do the characters have continuity in the different episodes?

bullet

Does it feel like a series?

bullet

If any episode feels it does not fit with the others, what needs to be done to make it fit?

Following discussion: 2nd drafts of scene-by-scene breakdowns to be worked on, revised or

polished.

Each writer produces a sample scene from episode to show lead characters.

13.00 Lunch.

AFTERNOON SESSION (starts 14.00)

Read through of sample scenes. Discussion.

bullet

Do the lead characters feel the same people in the different scenes?

Each writer develops their scene-by-scene into a script, with individual assistance from Jim.

(Note: Each participant will work at a speed that is comfortable for them. Some people who prefer to write fast will

produce more scenes for their script; others - who prefer to work at a slower pace - will produce less written work.

This is not about speed, it is about being satisfied with your work).

Final get-together for feedback and discussion.

17:00 Workshop ends
