90% of UK and US television is team-written.  Team-writing means that a team of writers work together to create a story and develop it, either into a series or serial. It is about co-operation, with the end product the result of everyone contributing creatively.

Jim has been a scriptwriter for 35 years. He has had over 250 TV and 250 radio scripts broadcast in the UK and across the world. He is the creator and writer of Radio 4's long-running KING STREET JUNIOR and CBBCTV's Sci-fi drama POWERS. Since the 1980s Jim has worked on writing teams for comedies, dramas, series and serials for UK, US and Irish TV, including THE GHOST HUNTER, JULIA JEKYLL AND HARRIET HYDE, THERE'S A VIKING IN MY BED, OUT OF SIGHT and many more.
