![]() A one-day workshop in which author and award-winning scriptwriter Jim Eldridge gives you practical hands-on advice on writing a book and getting it published. Jim has been a professional writer for 35 years. He has had 55 books published which have sold over two million copies worldwide, including the best-selling "MY STORY" series (Scholastic Books) and the "WARPATH" series (Puffin). As a scriptwriter he has had over 250 TV and 250 Radio scripts broadcast in the UK and across the world. He is the creator and writer of Radio 4's long running "KING STREET JUNIOR", CBBCTV'S "POWERS" and was a key member of the writing teams on "THE GHOST HUNTER", JULIA JEKYLL AND HARRIET HYDE", as well as many more TV and radio series. He has also tutored writing for the BBC and at Degree Courses in colleges. In "Writing Books and Getting Published" Jim gives his knowledge gained from his long experience of writing books, both fiction and non-fiction, for all ages, and the crucial issue of getting published.
